  1. Grab a group of friends.

How do bookings and reservations work? 2021-09-22T01:56:30+00:00

Bookings can be made over the phone or on our website – whichever is easiest for you!

For same day walk-ins – we ask that you please call in advance to see if there is still space in an existing reservation.

Pay special attention to the date when booking! We’d hate for you to come on the wrong day.

How much does it cost to play? 2019-10-10T20:16:26+00:00

Prices vary depending on location so please check the individual location reservation pages for pricing information.

Can I pay with cash? 2018-07-09T17:00:05+00:00

Unfortunately, all payments must be made online with credit/debit card through our Reservations section. If this is an issue, please contact us and we’ll find an arrangement.

Do you do refunds or cancellations? 2021-09-22T01:58:30+00:00

Cancellations and refund requests must be made 24 hours in advance. Cancellation policies vary by location. Some locations may not offer refunds, only future credit. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Do you have parking? 2018-07-09T17:00:53+00:00

Parking information will vary depending on location. Scroll to the bottom of the page for your respective location for details.

How long will the experience last? 2019-12-21T23:57:25+00:00

You will have a 5-10 minute briefing upon arrival. Your game will last exactly 60 minutes. Spend a little time with us afterward for debriefing and photos. We promise we don’t bite. The entire session will last 80-90 minutes.

What time should we arrive? What is your Late Policy? 2018-07-09T17:01:35+00:00

Please ensure that your entire group arrives 10-15 minutes prior to your assigned time slot. If your group is late past a 10 minute grace period, we’ll deduct that time from your time limit in the escape room. Trust us, you’ll want every second… besides, late comers are liable to be pegged with water balloons.

Do you offer donations or would like to take part in a fundraiser? 2018-07-09T17:02:02+00:00

We, at Texas Panic Room, really pride ourselves on giving back to the community. We’ve grown as a company because of the people in Austin so we think it is only right that we give back in any way we can. So if you would like to request a donation for your event (e.g. charity auction, fundraiser) simply contact us and we can discuss.

I’m trying to do a team-building event but I’m worried that this is scary/unprofessional… should I be? 2019-10-10T20:11:14+00:00

We totally understand that certain groups may share this concern that the Panic Room is some sort of “Haunted House” experience and unsuitable for team-building events. We can assure you that this is NOT the case. Despite our title, the Panic Room aims to put teams through a fun yet time-bound challenge that forges team bonds and brings out the best of people in the most critical of times. We can assure you that our staff and experience will be courteous, professional, and fun for you and your group.

We are NOT a haunted house. No fake mummies or scary vampires here…just good old puzzles and fun!

How many rooms do you have? 2018-07-09T17:02:36+00:00

Check the page for your respective location for details regarding rooms and room capacity. We have more exciting ones on the way. (Those feature a moat full of crocodiles and robotic zombies to add to the pressure. No sweat right?)

What is the age limit? 2018-07-09T17:02:53+00:00

We have an age limit of 10 years old. Groups of children under the age of 15 participating must have 1 adult for every 3 children UNLESS you booked the entire room. A private event of children under 15 must have an adult (21+) in the room or in the waiting area. Please understand that we want to ensure all customers have a great experience when sharing a room.

We reserve the right to reschedule any group that violate this policy.
This is not a nursery.

How many people can be on one team? 2018-07-09T17:03:19+00:00

Please check the individual location/room for the number of people recommended for the game. In general, most of our rooms require teams between 4-10 people. If you have less than 4 people, please find friends to join you so we can accommodate your visit. If you do NOT want to play with strangers, please purchase all of the tickets in the room (this means buying 8 spots for prison room or 10 spots for all other rooms) to ensure a private party. If you are coming in for a special occasion and have specific requests, please email us and we’ll see if we can accommodate you.

Nerds. Jocks. Hipsters. Goths. All are welcome. We don’t stereotype. We’re an equal opportunity attraction.

What happens if I don’t escape in time? 2018-07-09T17:03:33+00:00

We’ll send in orange jumpsuits through the bars. Enjoy Alcatraz, Texas Style. Just kidding. We’re mandated by law to let you out, so don’t worry. And you are always welcome to come back and try again!

Can we bring food/drink? What about BYOB? 2018-07-09T17:03:50+00:00

We allow food and drink in the waiting area, but if any large spills, messes, or vomit is found, parties will be fined up to $100. We ask that no food and drink be taken into the room. Besides, you’ll be too busy trying to escape to focus on eating.
